I need to know which is the return line to the engine after it has run through the cooler.

the line its self????

depends on which way you installed the lines, they can go in either place,
they connect to the cooler and its jsut that a cooler, put them on the top , or the bottome dont matter, they still run thru the cooler the same way.

now if you need to know which line goes back into the engine return, that is totally different.

that is the only differences, one comes from the pump in the engine, and on fitting on the engine is the return.

A cooler is not very difficult to figure out, it has an in and a out, fluid goes in one side, comes out the other, and it aint real particular which end gets it first

so basically whichever line you connect to the upper fitting of your engine, you can call that one the return, the lower fitting is your supply

basic mechanics 101

It has to matter. One of the lines supllies the cooler while the other returns the oil back to the engine. This is particularly important since I'm installing an Accusump. I wouldn't want it to discharge the oil the wrong way.

Stinker, what you're saying is the upper line is the return to the engine?

it's basically a heat exchanger. ;) :)

You're right - it does make a difference for this purpose. I was thinking the same thing when looking at the Accusump install. :dontknow:

Can't help though.
