Well I bought a new oil cooler today, because after I spun a rod bearing I was told don't take a chance on flushing out the metal peaces if any in the oil cooler.

So I guess its not worth taking that chance when you put alot of money into rebuilding one of our motors.

Should have all my parts to put the motor back together in two weeks.:D

thats the best thing to do. really cheap insurence

ya gettin the lube system updates also??? be sure to ask if they are puttin the best oil pump by-pass valve.

if memory sevres, ya should be able to go with the Gen IV main bearins.

can i ask what ya paided for the cooler?? just curious. bought one 2 or 3 years ago & was wonderin on the price difference

You should look into getting a high volume oil pump. I got my from Arrow send them yours as a core and they send you a rebuild with all of the goodies

New was $175.00 and used was $135.00. I bought a new oil cooler and performance main & rod bearings.
