This line will not tighten up and is a little loose that if I move it appears oil can seep by..I tried to tighten with a decent amount of force but did not want to break it....any tips on how I can get this thing tightened up without breaking it?

Looks like you need Stinkers oil line set.
I knew I'd get that response:D are these the one he has? They run the length of the radiator from one side to the other in the engine:dontknow:

this is normal, it will have some looseness to it......... when i had my radiator out (another story), i found this same tube (not the nut) rotated freely.... once i put everything back together, i had no leaks......:)

if it really is leaking alot, i think stinker has replacement power steering lines for ~$200.00.... :)

Yes, those are the ones...

.... But, it sounds to my like its stripped. :( Did you take it all the way off to see what the threads look like? :dontknow:

is it leaking from the threads or the line side of the fitting?[/QUOTE
Doesn't really leak....when I moved it, there was oil coming from the fitting area where it meets up with the nut...The nut is really tight..

Thanks...it oesn't appear to be like a dripping leak...more like when I move it it had fluid build up but still not enough to drip leak....is it a characteristic of that fitting? Also is this ps line or oil?

I don't thin it's cross threaded....it's was already on and I didn't try to loosen b/c I don't want oil all over the pavers in my driveway...

thats the way the POS factory fittin is.

Stinker's P/S lines:rock:

and if ya check the first flexable line from the pump, i would bet its wet

You're right I just checked stink's page and his lines are the lower one's...this one is the PS line since it's next to the bottle with the steering wheel pic on it...

Yep it is wet to...that's what led me to checking the fitting.....So this is "normal" in factory terms for this fitting? In other words is it something I need to worry about..(loss of steering, fire, ect..)

yes it is normal, no you have nothing to worry about........ :)
if it really bothers you, stinker has replacement lines for both the motor oil & power steering lines. :dontknow:

as long as I have noting to worry about....lately my motto to live off has been "if it ain't broke don't fix it" :p tried to replace something the other day on the boat that wasn't broke and guess what...i broke it:argh:

I have my stockers in t he garage. Replaced by Stinkers'.

If you drive up 75 north thru Macon, you can have mine. If you talk about mailing, might as well buy Stinkers.

kickin I'm working on getting Stinks lifetime warranty PS lines installed tonight. Should've been this morning, but that damn bolt your talking about is a POS. I can't get the mofo to move. Once I'm done I'm gonna let Tony know and he should have more available soon.
