oil pressure ??

my wifes 2005 qc has 25 psi oil pressure at any rpm is that ok because my 04 has a lot more than that.... it has 60k miles only mod is a jmb cai any help would be appreciated!!

that doesn't sound right dom cuz my 04 dips to 25 at idle but immediately goes up to 60 or so while driven. so doesn't that mean her motor is starving for oil?

i just changed the oil and put the new oil cooler lines on it took 10 qts and its right on the money...oil level wise:confused: :confused: :confused:

LOL..forgot that...I dont know the specs but seems from what i ahve read that 25-50 might be the norm for idle & low RPMs and 50-75 for higher RPMs.....my pressure never gets below 50 and is usually 75-80..

yeah thats what is messing with me its the same at idle all the way to 5500:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
i kno it sounds dumb but could the gauge be sticking? always try the simple things first
 
Always the chance it is a bad guage....unless some bearings are worn you should be on the high side due to the weight oil you are using..

when i very first start the truck it goes to 50 then immediatley back down to 20-25

the mileage has me worried 60k????

ill take a look at this coming week can i just hook up a gauge somewhere to check it against the oem gauge
