Oil starts washing ashore

Damn, that does not sound good. I really feel for all those folks that are going to see their livliehoods go down the shitter. Can you imagine what this is going to cost?

Its gonna be bad. There is alot of oil flowing from that hole, and can take them awhile to stop it.

another conspiracy going on ---Obama talked about opening the gulf for drilling and all of a sudden this happens ?????? Makes you wonder how and why this really happened....

And stinker gets covered in oil at every PCB GTG:D But only for the initiation of the new comers.:elefant: :elefant: Beware oil hazing party in the plaining 1st timers.:D

In a way im sorta glad something like this happend. All you heard before is "lets drill off Florida". I bet there thinking that through again.
I was in CA a few years back. It was wierd looking out at the ocean and seeing all the oil platforms. They were pretty close to shore.

Yeah, it sure screws up the beauty of Santa Barbara doesn't it? They are way too close to shore there IMO. I can't even imagine the damage if this were to happen there.

I'm not saying I'm against offshore drilling. But they should be farther offshore in that area for sure.

I'm not against it, just not here :D
All kidding aside, we do need to bring it here. Stop relying on other countries. I thing more precautions need to be in place (thought this before this accident) and obviously better plans in case something does happen.

That stuff may very well divert up the Mississippi River and leave PCB alone. I'm gonna bring a Gatorade cooler full of salty ice and used 40 weight oil to dump on Tony anyway.

god i hate that smell yes it makes you sick, dizzy you name it it'll put you to sleep also if your not careful. all i'm goign to say is.. i lost my job to obamas vision of off shore drilling. looks like it bit him in the ass now. That rig hasn't been on the job 20 days yet before it exploded..... this is why land drilling is better. more options to contain a spill or blow out

This is a pretty scary situation, with no imediate resolution in the near future. I agree %100 we need to be less dependent on foreign countries. What sucks really big donkey dick is that, this is going to give oil companies another reason to raise gas prices:confused: ..... as it is i drive my 10 rain or shine and gas prices suck, i could imagine what the near future has to come.....

With summer just around the corner you can bet on a couple of refineries going off line also, seems the oil companies have it all fiquered out when to gouge for more profit:( We have no shortage of oil, just refineries. I think the government should build a few and put Standard Oil ( they have a stake in most all the major oil companies) and All it's cohearts out of business.
