We used to us a BLU 82 in Vietnam. It was a 15,000 lb propane bomb. It was used to create helicopter landing zones in triple canopy jungle...it also was very successful in areas where there were tunnel complexes...those that survived the surface blast, lost their ear drums and vacated their bowels due to the pressure from the blast...really destroyed their will to fight...
