hmmmm empty bed rc 4x4 with good tires ..........................................................................................or even a truck with front wheel drive no prob.

i think i misunderstood 4x4... if it was slick enough for you to loose it going straight 5mph under the limit why was you not in 4x4? then it will be front wheel drive .... and rear too...

didnt look bad, at all just a little wet in spots and oversalting from earlier in the day. Not suppost to use 4X4 when its dry-mostly dry pavement from what I understand.

But if the road conditions waranted, youda sliped it right in,black ice is sketchy:confused:

most all modern 4x4s are ok to run in 4hi in semi slick conditions specially straight but not intended for 1k trips at 75 80mph... i use 4x4 on the wifes tahoe alot in wet roads or slight icy roads and its got 189k on it with no issues

Buy what you can afford to pay for. Do not add any debt. If it is a $2000 vehicle so be it. Now is the time for economic reality...you have payments on your SRT 10...only get what you do not have to finance...this could be the start of your trip back to financial health!

You are not what you own...I remember driving a lime green Pinto for a few years after my first wife took everything...(I also had a Sportster!).

Exactly my thinking here roy, either a really cheap car or mild price is fine in my current situation. Im even considering something with the srt 10, got a good trade in deal on it for a srt 8 jeep a few weeks ago, would have done it if it wasnt for my regular ram at home. Im pondering all outlets here, thinking a cheap-dependable ride though, that lets me keep my 10. With prices on used cars in the crapper now I should be able to hopefully find a nicer car/suv for around 10g's amd under, and a really small payment that will last me quiet a while.

AWD Honda Element. Bought my wife one, super roomy, rubber floor mat, neoprene seats, 24mpg, no major problems to speak of and were going on 57k miles so far. But they are ugly as sin IMO.

Well it came sooner than I thought, they totaled my truck officially yesterday which means I lost my rental car the next day. So I went out to get a car and gots a pretty good deal on a 2004 chrysler 300M special. Pretty nice ride actually for paying pretty little for her. Id post pictures but it wont stop fkin snowing here! But all I have to say is I LOVE HEATED BUTT/BACK SEATS, I dont know how I missed this all my life! Saddly I was looking to see maybe in spring if I could up her hp a little for fun but I cant find nothing at all! No headers, no exhaust systems, no supercharger, no turbo kit nothing no fun but oh well.

Congratulations Mike! Pretty nice choice there. My vehicle before the Nitro was the 300M. Not a bad vehicle at all - I just had my quirks about it. I'm actually not very fond myself of leather seats and I thought the vehicle was rather low to the ground. I like a vehicle that has a little more mass where I sit up higher. I didn't use the heated seats much since I was living in Florida at the time (not much need there :p) but something like that sure would be nice living in this area!
