Small leak from the head gasket....awesome. So guys, while I'm in there, what should I do? I have lined up, new head gasket, and headers, (with CATLESS mids and full exhaust)...how can I make this p.i.t.a. project worth my time?

Cam, thinner head gaskets, mill heads a tiny bit to ensure trueness, have your intake/valve covers powdercoated or dipped, new plugs and wires, SnakeBite Exhaust and Belangers headers.
Most importantly diagnose why gasket failed?

Gen IV head gaskets for a compression bump so you will get a performance increase while you're in there. Ever thought about a cam?

To save money on the head gaskets, just go with the new gen 4 head version, I know the dealer where i got mine wanted abotu 200 more for the gen 3 gaskets,

Better pushrods and springs would be a must for me. And like venomous said slightly thinner gaskets for a little more compression :D
