Just a suggestion..
We are hosting a cruise on Saturday September 22 from Edgewater MD (Annapolis) to the Tiki Bar in Solomons Island MD (about 50 miles). At the Tiki bar we have a Jimmy Buffett cover band, 2 NASCARs (the Crown Royal Car and Miller Lite) a car show open to the public, I think the Tiki is working on getting the Miller lite models to attend as well.. We are hoping for 200 + antique, muscle, exotic and high end vehicles to participate.
If people wanted to come on Friday we could hold a big GTG at the Greene Turtle Sports Bar and Grille..
Granted there would be no track racing, but everthing else is available.. But this could be a great mid-atlantic point for a GTG. www.thegoc.org for more info or call me in the office at 410-467-3600..

It is a touch over 200 miles, if you leave at 3am, don't hit traffic, have EZ pass, no female in the co-pilot seat, and average 70 mph you can make it in 3 hrs..
I made it from Baltimore to the Lincoln tunnel in about 2:45 and then it took me 2:15 to get through the tunnel and into the city!! Now, anytime I go to NYC, I take the train!!

Sounds fun and I certainly may attend this Md. thang but I was hopin we could pull something off up in NJ around Sept 8th or 9th!! Anyone got a suggestion or a place they wanna host a gathering??? :dontknow:

Just did a Mapquest 234 mile 4 hrs 10 min. I know it took me 5 hrs every tim i went to DC. It takes me 3 hrs just to get to Atlantic City NJ!!

Which is why I suggested Central NJ Steve it's easy for everyone to get too... Bryan mentioned havin us over to his folks house in Northern NJ but haven't seen him on much as of late!!
