One of the best motors I have had is the old Dodge 225 Slant six... Probably one of the slowest too...

I had one in a 74 Plymouth Scamp. That thing could literally run on no oil or coolant. They will run forever.

My 1/2 ton was the same... The body literally fell apart as the motor just purred away...

pops has got a straight 8 in a 49 buick roadmaster, still runs like a sewing machine.
