On a used truck, how can I tell if the clutch/flywheel has been upgraded??

I've got just shy of 19K on my clutch and recently did a very hard launch where I roasted first gear but held the burn out for close to 100' then nailed second gear, I couldn't believe it but the truck hooked up like never before pulled hard for a few seconds before the tires broke free again!! I was sure the clutch was gonna slip like crazy but this was when I knew something was up. I've bad this notion for the past month or so (I've had the truck since Oct. 06) that the previous owner might have installed the centerforce clutch/fidanza flywheel combo. Here's why; I picked the truck up with 13K miles and it had an intake, magnaflow catback and extensive stereo mods, the previous owner spared no expense with the stereo and the truck was obviously kept up to my high standard. We'll, to explain, since new (to me) I noticed the truck stalls off idle very easily and revs way quicker then my old Hemi Magnum with some bolt-ons. To explain myself further about the stalling off idle, the best way to describe the truck is that it is the hardest vehicle I've ever owned to start from a standing start under light throttle, like in traffic. The revs drop so quickly but if I lightly blip the throttle the revs build so quickly with the clutch partially engaged that I sound like and ass sometimes! I've driven one other SRT-10 RC and my clutch feels "lighter" and the truck seems to rev very quickly, it sounds like an exotic at times!! So a lot of you guys who acquired your trucks used might have aftermarket clutches! I do, however, have a question afterall. How can I tell for sure if the clutch or flywheel has been upgraded? What will an aluminum flywheel look like from the little access hole in the tranny when under the truck? How 'bout the clutch, anyway to tell? I was thinking of upgrading the clutch months ago just because but I have reason to think it was already taken care of before I bought the truck! Anyone else have an issue like mine??

im worried about my clutch also! not that it was changed! but when i go home my dad drives it, in the morning while i sleep! and every time i drive it the clutch feels weak (sliping a bit) my dad tought me how to drive a stick! but when i launch? (leave a stop light or sign) i would much rather spin the wheels one or two revaloutions than slip the clutch!! sounds to me like your hooking awesome, not the problem im having, and im not trying to hijac!! i just bought mine in Feb. and its been a learning exp. the harder i drive it the better it performs! but it comes at a cost! im that much closer to a level of insurence i cant pay for:D looks like i need to step up and show my dad how to drive it! sorry i cant help you but i hope i can help some of us here who cant afford a clutch rebuild! PS i hope you have the upgrade already!! that would be sweet:star:

Just look under the hood and look at your hydraulics for the clutch. I don't think anyone has done a Centerforce with out doing the viper master/slave combo but I have been wrong before :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :D :D :D

The master clutch cylinder looks stock as its all plastic but I took a photo of it anyways.

For those that are wondering why I have so many large gauge power wires coming out of my Positive battery terminal, it’s a little upgrade I'm in the process of doing  This info will be soon to follow!! Stay tuned!!

Also I took a shot of my naked tailgate just for fun!

Back onto the clutch, anyway to tell for sure besides taking the damned thing apart??
