Went to Westech this afternoon to drop off some calipers for a project car they are building...

This incredible Cobra 500 GT was there for some minor work before it is shipped to the east coast. One of 10 built with this color combination and white interior.

This is the real deal...been completely restored...sounds like a dragster at idle...what a dream car!

LOL! :D :D :p

I didn't see that, Roy... Real nice '61 there. Looks like a blast! I just love folks that enjoy their classic cars and not (necessarily) restore the shit outta them. Corvette owners are notorious for that. :( They just make them "perfect" and then they are useless, IMO. Really cool ride there... and RARE too. Awesome!

I got one of those round things on my engine, but mine is red.:D

Actually 175K is not a bad price for that car. I'm betting that 3 years ago it would have been over 1/2 a million.

I agree John...and hopefully that will be where prices are again five years from now...that will tell us that we have recovered and that our love of vehicles is once again a healthy hobby.

I like Jake's better than the 61.............. It's nearly perfect looking in the photos. The color- the wheels- the combo is prodigious nipples and marmalaide. It doesn't get any better.... Unless of course, she's screaming with joy.

D

and you think we have problems hookin up...look at those lil skinny tires on the rear with all that power!!!! awesome pic
