Hi

Today I was on the dyno. The engine delivered 442PS and 670Nm........:dontknow:
I had made some mods like: Air intake, Magnaflow and SCT by ROE Racing.

Could someone help me, why there are only 442PS at the flywheel?

Cheers

You must convert from SI units to english:D I have no clue what a PS is? Its not in any of MY SI to English conversions? WTF is it? (670 NM=n 494 Ft-lb)

Unless the dyno can figure out your flywheel power then the numbers you have are at the wheels. I think there is roughly a 15% loss from flywheel to tires. Just need to know what PS and NM are.

670 NEWTON METERS =494 FT-LBS:D

PS=Pferdestärken=horsepower

The guy which I was at the dyno told me that my engine delivere 442PS!
So I think the viper engine has 505 horsepower, right?

So, whats wrong with mine.

Cheers

Dynos only show HP at the wheels not shaft HP. So if you are getting 442 RWHP that would equate to roughly 515 HP at the crank. My QC with a stage 2 flash dyno'd at 438.5 RWHP. I don't think there is a problem with your HP.

442 is a rear wheel number, drive train power loss is about 60hp...

Ok so you have 442 RWHP and 494 Ft-lbs RWT. Mystery solved. Numbers are what you can expect:D

Hey guys

Now I know why.

The power from the dyno is is called DIN Horsepower and the power from the engine which Dodge wright into the Manual from the truck is called SAE HP.

There is a 15-20% difference between them. So 442 DIN HP is perfect.

Thanks for all your coments:rock:

I just used a rough estimate of 15% loss. Your mileage may vary.:D
