It's hard to think the truck will soon go...Honestly I have a buyer already...and will be getting a payout from the bank later today.:(
I will always be here with the forum, and could never leave family...and someday hope to do it all over again. Right now I need to get affairs straightened out here... starting with further thinning of our budget...the truck was the breaking point...and I had enough to hold me to Dec...since Dawn's recent set of problems...I see no relief in the near future...so 10 has got to go.:dontknow: Not the end of the world.
Just wish none of this shit would have happened...:dontknow:

On a side note, made to through Heavy Rigging Class... our "Bravo" group came out 1st:rock: :D The prize...from SSI (Instructors) ...some nut powder...LOL
Was a great class...nothing like running a Earthquake Scenario...with collapse of a Chrysler Building with people trapped.
A bit more to ordering a crane, weight calculations of columns to be "picked", site management, logistics, planning, ect... than one would estimate.
Got a lot of crane work & rigging done, and everyone had a great time, no injuries, and we learned a lot. Nevertheless I add Heavy Rigging Specialist to the portfolio.
Could have used Silverback with some of the algorithms though;) :eek: :D
I did not have my camera with me, and I shot a few with the cell...but they suck. One of the guy's in the group shot a few, and I will see if I get them.
Other than that SOSDD. Got 3-36's coming up...Dawn got her shot's...doing ok...waiting for an improvement.:dontknow:

Thanks bro...honestly...the "potential buyer" is one of the fellas at work...he has a Viper already...so he knows what he would be getting...just not sure if he is looking for one as modded as mine...we will see. I have not pushed it much past that point yet... not much time to get anything done but get caught up around here....and today is for Dawn and I... this will be the third day we have had together in 7 weeks... then I am off on three 36 hour shift's... and a pending Structure Specialist class back in Ocala from the 26th till Dec 6th.:dontknow:

Ken.. I don't know what to say here because anything that utters from my mind wouldn't magically make all of this go away for you; I wish I had that power bro. However, my power exists through prayer and I will certainly be praying for both you and Dawn. The truck is an extremely awesome machine but family should be second to none. Dawn is worth a million times more than what your truck will fetch in a sale. #270 can be replaced but not Dawn. If there is anything we can do for you to squash that deal with your co-worker and keep your baby please do not hesitate to say. I don't need an auction to pitch in if it came to that. God bless you and Dawn. I pray for her speedy recovery. Peace brother.

Hi Ken somehow I missed this thread......just realized it started when I was on vacation. I am sorry Dawn's health is not progressing like we all want it to. Also I am sorry you have to part with your truck. Like a few others here..........yours is as good as it gets!! I would love to own this rig!!

Good luck with the sale............I would say the price is a steal for the buyer.

Yeah...was a pretty depressing moment putting the truck up on Craigs...
I am in anticipation of a better 2008, but in preperation of things not so great...I figure I would get a start.
I am friggin whipped, and for the past 6 month's the 72 - 96 hour work weeks are catching up with me... January was the "Magic Mark" before the last budget cut's.... this pace is killin me.
Dawn is not in a working capacity, and were getting nowhere with attorney's... so that avenue is pretty bleak..and of course does not fix our immediate needs. THe whole thing is a damn mess.
I'm tired...loosing the fight, and overall depressed. Like the weight of the world is on me right now.:mad: Just goes to show ya that a "stumble" can lead to a fall... and I wish I would hit ground already.
I :dontknow: ... just feel like I let myself and everyone down.:eek:

Thanks everyone for the encouragement...:) I know that someday we will look back at this..and be relieved when it is a distant memory.
Until then... :dontknow: We will see what happens... IF I can get enough for the truck..it will allow me to finish up this house in case she is next. Going to be a busy 2008.

Dude you didnt let anybody down!!!! Life is just hitting you two like a freight train right now. Some people have good luck others get hit with bad luck........its just life..........sometimes its not fair. As men we want to feel in control............and it sucks when we realize we have no control. You do have control of your faith.............and you have this group praying for you and Dawn as well.

Hang in there Ken, stay strong...............things will get better.

I'm so sorry that things have been this rough for you..... I do understand and I still believe that God is watching over us... no matter how alone and lost we feel.

It sucks...and that's all there is to it....

I do join my prayers with yours in the hope that we will find our way out of this mess and get back on solid ground again....

The recent John McCain TV ad about when he was a prisoner of war in Nam gave me hope. I pray that (along with our love and prayers) that you and Dawn will find something to renew that hope in you, too.....

May God's ministering angels comfort you and bring to peace......

Ken and Tim, sorry to see this posted....really , if i could , i give you my half luxury to recover from those bad times....but it is not that simple....perhaps it strikes europe to within time and i also selling lux things...just hoping for better times to last....and coming back for you guys.....but let us hold fix that health and friends are the most value , luxury can be missed when not affordable, it's in the word itself , so , keep faith and better times will come again , more appreciating as before small things , more real life enjoying :rock:
i had many years were i had always a piece of month over beyond my paycheck , i enjoyed them to ! :rock: :rock:
