What's the optimum pressure for the M&Hs on 17s on our trucks? Looks like weather will probably cooperate within the next couple of weeks and I'll be going. Mods are per signature. I'll be running at Houston Raceway park and they have a good prep..

Thanks,
oldguy

I lowered mine to 22 psi.

I think M & H recommends around 22 psi. That is what I started off with and went as low as 18 psi. One thing I noticed with mine the first time out was on the second pass there was some vibration when I stepped on the brakes. Some of the lugnuts had worked slightly loose. After that I re torqued them after every run (120 ft/lbs) and got 1/8 th of a turn sometimes.

start hi and work low. big end when u let off the lower the pressure the wilder the ride. if he said 22 thats a starting point not for traction but handeling when u are slowing down.....

What lugnuts are you using?

Never bothered to look at the name. The lugnuts came with the wheels when I bought them. They are longer than the stockers. So there is no issue there. I know they came from Boomer.
