Has anyone replaced the stock plastic power steering reservoir with a remote mounted reservoir *AND* kept the stock power steering pump? (Basically remove and throw the plastic POS away and run AN lines to a remote reservoir).
I did find a billet replacement (but not remote) from a viper vendor... But other than completely replacing the entire pump and housing, I am not having luck with my search. I can find tons of options on GM units... nada specific to our trucks.
If i have to replace the pump to go remote - any recommendations? I can deal with fittings/lines - trying to minimize issues with mounting brackets and especially the pulley.
