Have you tried turning on the switch at night, and checking inside and outside for possible added lighting?

Didn't seem to light anything up on the outside when I checked tonight.

And to follow the wiring I'd have to remove the dash, which currently I don't have time for. Maybe when I'm able to install my new shifter I'll just pull that front facing off too and see if it runs anywhere.

As for it being nitrous...I wish! Unless the bottle is hidden in the best spot ever and the nitrous setup is completely hidden as well I don't think that's it haha

you don't have to remove the dash to pull the center bezel, its a 15 second job

omg lol... I had one exactly like that! in the some location except it was on top, not the side. It was an accent light that would light up the cup holder
