Belanger long-tubes, Belanger mids w/high-flows, and Magnaflow cat-back. Just couldn't justify the extra buck for B&B bling. I hope to have the system in so I can install it New Year's weekend. Will do it in my garage on stands w/tires and fender wells removed. No doubt will sound better. Hopefully will also be faster.

Thanks for the advice.

You guys are sure costing me some bucks.

You should be happy with that. I've had B&B stuff on other vehicles before, and it's good shit for sure... But I have the Magnaflow on my SRT and have no complaints. :) :burnout:

You are welcome :D

Just wait until we talk you into a supercharger....then you're really gonna hate us

Hey, that sounds familar, well except for those cats... http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3728

Hate to spoil your plans, but if you just ordered yesterday, and the vendor you ordered from does not have the headers in stock it is not likely you will be doing this job by then. 3 weeks lead time on Belanger headers if the vendor you ordered from has to get them from Belanger. They do not keep them on the shelf, they make them, send them out for coating, then drop ship to you.

I talked with the vendor today. The Belangers were scheduled to be complete in fab and going for coating tomorrow. Yep, I'm still optimistic I'll get them by 12/29 for an install over New Year's weekend.

Well, 94rt10ohio was right, no new exhaust by New Year's weekend. Shipping is expected the middle of next week. I'll just take vacation whenever it arrives and do the installation then. Patience is a virtue I'm somewhat short on.

I feel, I mean felt, your pain in Sept of 06. It was slightly over 3 weeks to get the headers. But when it was done I was very happy.

Ive narrowed down the exh. systems im debating on installing on my 05 Reg. Cab SRT-10 to the Borla and Magnaflow Cat. back systems. Anyone have any ideas on the better of the two. I did drive a friends srt-10 the magnaflow system installed an it sounded good but it was loud in the cab just cruising around town at a steady speed. The resonance in the cab could drive you to drink. Wasnt sure if anyone had the borla system installe and could provide input on if that system is work the extra $$ or stick with old faithful magnaflow. Thanks

I received my exhaust last Friday and finished the installation today. The delay was because both front 02 sensors galled, one was in stock, but the dealership had to order the other. The installation had some challenges on my QC not posted in the instructions for a SC but nothing too tough. I am extremly impressed with the Belanger headers, high-flow cats, mid pipes, and Magnaflow cat-back. Fit and finish are outstanding. There is no annoying in-cab drone at highway speeds, and it sounds like the world is coming tio an end at full throttle. Next time there's good air at HRP after I get 200+ miles on with the new exhaust I'll make some runs and post results.

I'm pleased. Thanks for the advice.

When you do not have CATs, well there is in-cab drone (ok by me) and the wide open throttle is like the galaxy is coming to an end!

Sound clips? You know we like pics/vids/sound clips!

Sorry for no soundclips or pictures. I have no digital camera or recorder. Maybe I should be dinosaurT10 instead of oldguysrt10. Technolgy has passed me by and I'm making no effort to catch up.

It's been raining here for the last several days so I've not been able to put my foot in it yet since the install. Sunny skies are predicted tomorrow though.
