I'm Jealous... I had to order shackles until I can afford the drop kit.

Spent too much $$ on RaaMat ;) :p

My lowering kit and upgraded leafs have beeb sitting in my garage now for nearly 1 year.... just need to buckle down and do the work...

Was thinking of lowering mine more until today.
Pulled a light car 200 miles on a trailer and parked it backwards cause it had too much weight on the tounge the other way.
Put a Caddy on it coming back and had to park it with the engine up front cause it would not work backwards.
If I had been lowered any more it would have set on the bumpstops and bounced all the way.
About 6500lb total trailer with the car.
Might use it as a truck again someday so no more lowering.
On a positive note got 11mpg with the cruise set on 75.

Did you go with the 1/2 kit?...got it for mine and I love the look.....my dealer did the install....both the service mgr and the viper tech who did the install said that (boomer's) was the best quality drop kit they had installed.....both have done quite a bit customizing of vehicles...:)

Yep.. I went with 1/2 kit, also upgraded my rear springs to standard cab springs.
where'd you get your work done azypyroguy?

I'll be doing my install myself with my friend who is a genius mechanic dude that works at a mustang (yuck, ford, but he is an awesome guy!) performance shop and is far and above the most vehicle wise person I've ever personally known.

I did my truck with a mechanic buddy of mine as well. We just did it in his driveway and took our time. I posted a detailed install link. Not sure if its on this site or not. Was on the nfff one.

looks good prof........ is that the 1/2 or the 2/4 ??

That does look great! Quick tell me which one that is before Boomer ships my kit. I want that one! (assuming you don't chew the bumper up on curbs or anything)

1/2!

Thanks.

No matter which lowering kit you get you have to be careful. Deep dips or parking "bumpers" will eat your air dam!

Just stay away...don't take the chance...my Volvo has about 4 inches of front clearance...I am always repainting the front spoiler...

looking at it again, does the front camber look off? it does look fantastic, but the front/rear wheels are catching the light differently...

I did not even have to have it realigned...Marty at X-Metal did the install.
