Changed the oil today and pulled out the inner fender on the passenger side to tighten up the oil lines (Stinker's). One was leaking a bit, needed a half turn of tightening. Anyway, the brakes have been squealing more than usual and the reason why is because there is no pad left and the rotors are pretty worn down. Ooops! Bad thing about the damn stock pads, you just start to ignore the squealing. So I ordered a set of Raybestos rotors and the Zechausen (however you spell it) pads. Anybody have any thoughts?

I wanted a pad that could still stop pretty good but I am tired of the dust from the stockers. Hopefully what I ordered is decent. Little late now but I just figured I would post something. Haven't been on in awhile. Hope everyone is doing well. Moved into a new house (actually old house, built in the 70's) a couple of months ago and it is an F'n disaster to say the least. I have a bathroom completely gutted right now because the work was done by a drunken handyman who obviously did not know his asshole from a screwdriver. That is another story unto itself.

Thank God! Because I would be looking for you (with a big hammer in my hand). It started out with mold because there was a bathroom vent fan in the wall that went, well into the wall. Who the F puts a ventilation fan in the wall? Plus there was no exit to the outside, it just went into the wall. Started pulling more apart and found the medicine cabinet was basically held up by drywall. Oh, this doesn't fit, let me throw in a 2x4 here and screw it in to the drywall. Yeah, that works out nice. Oh, I cut all the studs that support the wall? Who needs that? Wait! I need to put 40 thousand wires I don't need for the lights, let me bury an electrical box in the wall. Uh oh, electrical outlet is in the way of my medicine cabinet. I know, lets put it 7 ft off the ground and use a an extension cord to plug in the refrigerator (kitchen is in the other side of the wall, retard moved the electrical box for the medicine cabinet, funny thing is there was plenty of room to leave it where it was, just needed to route the wiring).

This is the bullshit I have been dealing with. When I started seeing all the dumb shit, I just decided to gut it and do it right.

As far as the pads. I'll let you know.

Not sure yet there is a couple of us up north and some in ny, and theres guys down south. So somewhere in the middle. Even if its not at a track dont matter would be cool to have a big group of viper trucks

used centrics with my srt-10 truck, quiet with no dust....... now using stoptechs with same results from dave too on my GTS.... awesome to deal with !!!!

I have the Zeck pads and rotors all the way around, swapped out everything at 30k miles

the brakes do lose something from stock (in addition to the noise) they just don't grab as well, but once you get used to them, then you are fine, but the stockers just grab so well

now, you don't have to clean your wheels every other day to keep them looking good, and when you stop you don't need to have your windows up
