But it sure don't shift right!

I have talked with Stinker about it, and we think I might have bent one of the shafts inside the tranny that works with low gear.:dontknow:

Oh well, C'est La vie! I am going to try to get it fixed under Warranty, wish me luck!

Is it kicking in and out of gear? Did you mess with the shift cable?

Nope, not kicking in and out, and I did a proper adjustment on the kick-down cable.

It shifts at very high RPM's under light throttle, and when it kicks down, it hits the rev limiter and doesn't shift back up until you let off the throttle.

It's driveable, but you have to force it to shift...

having my trans looked at this week too. mine searches for gears sometimes and doesnt shift like it used to. kinda hoping the damn thing would just shit itself so i can get it replaced.

I heard that! I have been telling the dealership for a while that mine isn't right, and they always basically tell me to get lost!

Adjust your cable all the way UP... Drive it for about 50 miles... and that should get you a new tranny.

Well I talked with Mickey (1qck) tonight,and he's hoping to be able to drive his truck too !!! His surgery went well,so he's crossing his fingers !!!!:rock: I'm still game for whomever wants to join in !!!
