I'm thinking that van is prolly totalled...:dontknow:
This is scary and brings back some nasty memories for me.
When my Barracuda was totalled back in October 2000 I was stuck on the freeway in the early morning just before light after the initial impact. Just like that van, I had no tail lights and couldn't move the car. Another car was facing the other way propped right up against my door so I couldn't open it. My passenger (who refused to wear a seat belt) hit his head and couldn't get out on his side. Even if he could move, cars were still going by at 75 mph in the lane right next to us. They would have taken the door off if he tried to open it. I could see cars in the rear view mirror coming up on our tail at full speed slamming on their brakes. I finally turned the mirror up figuring if we were going to get nailed I didn't want to see it coming. My nephew had been following us. He parked and ran back with a flashlight waving it back at the approaching traffic until the emergency vehicles arrived. It was dangerous but he probably saved out lives. This was all caused by some yahoo in a 5.0 Mustang who was going to miss his exit and swerved across all the lanes of traffic from the carpool lane. His little antic detroyed five cars including my car and my brother's show winning '65 Belvedere. Here is a before and after picture of the Barracuda.
Every driver, young and old should see this video. I know I'm showing it to my wife and kids.

I don't like the looks of that after picture. That is sad.
