Wow, thanks go to the "O" man! ;)

"Congratulations!
Your vehicle appears to qualify for $4,500.
Our records indicate that the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup 8.3L Manual (6) RWD has an EPA combined gas mileage of 11 mpg.
Based on your trade-in information, you are eligible for a incentive between $3,500 and $4,500 when you purchase or lease one of the vehicles listed."

I thought you got trade + 4500???

You do but...
The trade amount is still up to the dealer,
and you only get the credit on some gas friendly models.

I'm not sure if it's a "tax credit" or a cash allowance?:dontknow:
I'm keeping mine so I did not read it all.:D

you get scrap value, and they cannot scrap the engine or transmission.
+4500. cash off.

http://www.cars.gov/

There are a few other sites as well....Google cash for Clunkers. I'll be getting rid of my 1994 Jeep fro this deal...it's worth about 2,000 so if the gov. is going to give me 4,500, i'm taking it lol:D
