Details, from start, rollon:dontknow: lets hear.
Well, First off i do not race on the street. But if i did it would have gone something like this. I had my wife with me, and we are going to get some coffee, When this Shelby 500 comes up beside me and romps it a little. I keep cruising, And the wife says, Are those faster than your truck? I hang my head a little, And go into the weight thing and all. Then i see this guy waving me over to get on the on ramp to the freeway, Well if i was going to race i would of gotten over, And followed him up the on ramp to a damn near empty freeway. Then i would have gotten up next to him and we would both slow down to about 50 mph, And i would have looked over to see him get ready to honk us on. Now if i took off on his first honkbclark05 said:

I raced a saleen the other day from 3rd. I don't know what he really had done to his car but he was wheelchairing past me nothing to flip for. I'm not sure what they run stock but I know he got his feeling's hurt when a full size truck was right next to him the whole time tho. All in good fun for me win lose or draw

Cobra's are beast's....my neighbor has one and anotehr has the Roush edition which is also really quick..
Get the Shelby to the track...those things have more problem hooking up than our trucks......I have seen many Shelbys at the track and none have gotten out of the 14s............not that the car cant...In the right hands the Shelby is a mid 12s car...

I ran a new 500 at the track, we were both on drag radials, he ran 7.98 I ran 7.80 on nitrous.....But did kick his ass!!!

Don't feel to bad there JR ! I am the guy who was driving the Shelby. I gotta give ya cred for trying!! I just had the car detuned from 820 rwhp to 720 rwhp on pump gas now. The car has ran 6.67 @ 110 at Barona and 10.41 @136 at Fontana. And we may have even met as I am a friend of FSTJACK, I mention that so nobody thinks I am a troll or something! I have brand new rear end gears and I am suppose to be breaking them in, they should be now! See ya around town!! J.D.

I heard about this encounter yesterday as my friend with the Shelby 500GT called me and asked me if I knew a man with a silver truck with personalized plates.
I told him "why yes I do know who that was" and he had no business picking on a poor old guy in a Dodge pickup. :dontknow:
The Mustang is wickedly fast even on a pump gas tune. He was supposed to be breaking a new set of rear end gears and shouldn't have got on it to start with. The Mustang is all stock with just bolt on's. I just want to cry when I see how fast it is for so little money.
I will blow his doors off as soon as we get the red truck back together.
