P1685 code

I keep getting codes comming up ,so i am forced to ask you guys for you're invaluable advice once again .

P0139 (02 sensor 1/2 slow response) wtf does that mean?????

just a guess sounds like your 02 sensors are bad, wire, loose, or malfunction

Didn't see this one on the list. But the other codes in that area seem to be tied to the PCM itself. Is your truck newer than an 04? The code list here is for 04's there may be more for newer trucks.

Hi Bob it's an 04 with a Paxton,so i'm running with sims,so i,m not too worried about that one.But the second one is an unknown quantity at the moment.

There is no P1685 code :dontknow:

Suggest you disconnect your negative battery lead for 30 minutes....the PCM should reboot when you reconnect...that should clear your P1685 mystery code.

And the sensor code should be easy to resolve. I generated the same code, and Roe Racing just strapped my sims outside the headers, where they got clean air and I drove off happy.

Thanks Sting/Prof,checked the codes again and it was P1685.I think i will try the battery disconnect and tie the sims up away from the headers.It was nearly 100 degrees last night and i was giving her a bit of a caning.Thanks again guys.
