painted grill

well...i finally painted my grill. i simply sanded it and painted it. I didnt remove it at all.. I know, I know. I taped everything off and painted it in the on the truck. still turned out great though. I will get pics of it ASAP. It took me around 7 hours total...so you know i took my time and did it right.... so far...im in it for a $6 can of paint.....if it turns out i dont like it...then i will get a black billet grill.....I dont want to hear a word from the Brady bunch on how frugal I am with my money...LOL......inside joke of course....

Looks great if it holds up, I didn't try it cause imo it's gonna flake off over time and the honeycomb costs me ummm $45 so I wasn't down fo the grief!! Props for the effort!! :rock:

i also painted the two locks on my snugtop SL lid...makes a world of difference....

i was wondering if clear coat would possibly crack the paint? any thoughts on that?
