Mine were looking pretty rough after having them on and off about a dozen times :D

Soooo, figured I would try to spruce them up until I pick up some billet covers ;)

Still have a couple of areas to clean up...as soon as it warms up again....

LOOKS GOOD! i'll probably have to paint or powdercoat mine soon, even though i keep her covered, lots of humidity and salt in the air being near the coast. they are starting to show a little corrosion around the bolt heads:mad:

Sure, I am free this Sunday or the following weekend should work as well. Drop me a PM and we can work something out ;)

mmmmmmm......how'd you do that!!?? Looks killer! Can you just spray paint them while installed?

No, you have to take them out...but that only takes about 10 mins.

Just hit them with some 300 grit paper, then some Acetone, masked off the covers, painted the letters, let dry, then masked the letters and painted the covers.

There are still a couple of spots that need to be touched up but it was going to rain, so had to throw them back on to keep the moisture out.

If you want a finish that is going to last, then I would powercoat them. This job will probably last a year before they start looking like crap again. Plan to pick up some billet covers by then ;)

Looks good...Nice personal touch...Black is different...

I like it better then the red. Would pop big time with a polished intake.

Those look great! It's a wonderful (and quick) way to spruce up the engine bay. I am going to get mine powder coated from JMB (because I special ordered a CAI in a color, that I want to match)..... But that looks really good!

On another note: Billet Creations' owner is a good friend of 6Pak's (Dennis). I've seen his work, and it is TOP NOTCH! .... The rad cover looks sweeet with the black valve covers.
