So I am thinking of painting the satellite radio antenna on my truck to match body color so it doesn't look like such an eye sore. Does anyone know if this will affect the reception or not.

Go for it man, it'll be alright. :)

(Take notice: Alot of vehicles have satelite radio antennas that are painted to match)

PS, paint your truck black to match the antenna, it'll be faster too. :D

I dont see why it wouldnt work, people paint there doors handles and such all the time. The paint should stick if preped properly and like i said shouldnt mess with the reception. I would try it.

Check with any Camping World store, I think there is a different paint available just for that.

What color is your truck? Krylon makes a plastic paint that works well... but they only have them in basic colors (red, black, yellow).... :dontknow:

Its silver, and I sell paint so knoww problems getting the right match just making sure I wouldn't lose reception more than anything.

No reception loss... The old model ant. used to be under the dash. :)
