Does any one have photoshop to see what a yellow quad would look like with black rims?

The dealer that my truck is at right now had a yellow one with charcoal grey wheels a couple of months ago. IMO, it didn't look quite right. I think silver or black trucks are the only colors that look tip-top with the black wheels. Obviously, it is a taste issue, as I am still not sure if I wanna do it to my truck or not, but yellow looks so tight with the shiny ones, I wouldn't f with it!!

A Yellow Fever SRT-10 would sick with black rims and I think you'd be the first guy on the forum with that combination....go ahead and do it....you never know till you give it a try and you could sell'em on VTCOA in a week if you don't like them....IMHO the stock wheel looks great and blk powder coat will really set them off nicely!

I agree with Nowwhat. Powdercoating would be better for wear and tear. But if you do decide to paint them, I would also go the extra mile and have the wheels clearcoated to protect the paint :D

Mi dos centavos.

Me personally I searched until I found a nice set of black wheels at a reasonable price. I thought about powdercoating my OEM wheels but thought about what I would do if I didn't like them. If you powdercoat them and don't like it you're SOL. No matter what picture you see of what your truck could look like, you won't know until you see it in person.

I found some black wheels at a great price and now if I like them I can put my OEMs up for sale. If I don't then I resale the black wheels.

If anyone here would like some info on the wheels I got PM me.

I think I would have the inner rims powdercoated also. Mine always look dirty (crappy) and they're hard to clean.

Here ya go!

I like them better with the silver lip.

Here is a quick, not really well done look at what the rims would look like powder coated yellow:
