panama GTG 2009 thougts

What we have to consider is that when we attend a GTG that we plan we know there will be no trouble, BS'ing, static and so on. Now when we start adding others we don't really know into the mix (and a bunch of L's no less) I can't help but to wonder what the out come would be. Sure they would make the track rental of $2,500.00 easier to deal with..... Wait! Why do they want so much anyway? Is it because they let us do whatever we want there and without helmets?

Anyway, I digress, I think that "the more the merrier" statement is true, but let's hope things don't get out of hand or TOO competative as what may occur once we start tossing L's into the mix.. YOU GUYS HEAR ME KNOCKIN'?

And BTW, if I have to fly in there I will... Be it #1900, 300C SRT or rental, I know it's going to be a great GTG regardless..

I think we will leave it an all mopar event Anthony, mostly from who we can gather up.

on the charge of $2500, well boy did we discuss that:argh: actually it should be $3000, he says it cost him that much to jsut open the track:confused:

up to over 100 vehicles could cost 7k:confused:

so we are kinda stuck at the $2500 bo, and belive me I fought him on it:p but wouldnt budge:eek:

and you know tthere want be no prob's we got you there buddy;)

Yeah an all Mopar event I think would work out better especially since it'll be many folks we know one way or another. Adding other kinds of performance trucks or vehicles would definately get some tempers flaring as they would have one tough time consistantly running past that finish line first.

exactly:D what we may have to reconfigure is the racing deal

would you guys rather have a combined race? or would everyone rather have them separated?

Another thing to consider:

If we get too many cars involved, we lose track (and socializing) time. As much as the track in Macon was, 1 hour in staging SUCKED! :)

Third week in May is good!

I say only SRT's

Charg, Mags, Rams, Vipers, Jeeps, Chall

Yeah all Mopar... even though I've been known to show up in something else.

If it's any weekend in May I won't be there.

I'll have to wait and see what date is scheduled ---work sucks

What about getting extra people in stages. We start by inviting guys with hemi trucks (Hemi Truck Club, etc) and see where that puts us for total numbers. If we have a lot of trucks then we stop there. If we need a few more then other SRT's and finally all other mopars. This should keep it friendly yet fun. BTW that weekend is possibly when I will be moving to VA so I might be out.

I say all mopar

and will they do ANY track prep for us ?

last time was fun,but no hook at all for anybody

Well looks like we need to do an all Mopar Event, and honestly this will be the first one so not sure on how many will actually show up, you know how it is on first timers:p

we are liable to scare them a little:D

but looking over the thread I think an all SRT event, open to all mopars would be the tits:rock:

and honestly guys , we will jsut see how many plan on attending.

let me and Edddie do a little more leg work and nail a few more things down, and get this thing going:D

So I can not bring my GT500 to play okay, if you do not want to get your feelings hurt okay. If I still got the truck I will be there. Right before I deploy

who was the guy with the SRT-8 Magnum, at the Macon GTG. I know he would go, he had a pretty nasty ride.

IMO and not that anyone asked..but I am not real shy :D The bigger you make it, it will lose something...It always does. I understand splitting the costs with more people invited would be easier on people but the best GTG's are always when WE come together as one...Just my worthless .02 cents:eek:

No matter how many peeps are attending I WILL find time and energy to run around and mingle/BS with everyone I can.

Yes this time I will not have the kids so I will rolling. But you are right, when to many people come through, you see that Mustangs , camaro's , Tuners, Vettes, Trucks in there own spots, like it was in in Macon
