According to their site, you COULD use the same cord, the only issue is that the 9500i is a red display and the h/w cord you have has a blue LED.

Don't know if it's a simple color issue or a compatability issue. I'll contact Escort, Inc. this week and let ya' know.

Yeah Esh because I'd rather go with the 9500i in the truck instead if it works. I DID see some blue display 9500's tho.

Yes you probably did, they are about $50.00 more. I can get you one of those if you'd like. Then you could use your BLUE h/w kit......
