My biggest problem was bogging down. A ROE makes power earlier than a Paxton, so if he is bogging at all, it will take a small slice of time and track to build back up.

It's not so much the e.t. that is bugging me but the big fall off in M.P.H.
(which is a drop in horsepower).

Launch technique (with not a lot of tire spin)....

He hot brakes it to 2000 r.p.m. (so someone has put a converter in) and hammers the throttle as the third bulb lights.

Results:

2.0 sec. 60 foot
84.4 M.P.H. in the 1/8th
13.24 @ 106.6 m.p.h.

The run immediately prior to this was as follows...

2.1 sec. 60 foot
79.82 M.P.H. 1/8 MILE
13.958 @ 99.75 m.p.h.

It may be something as simple as a belt slipping
like Hamrhead mentioned.:dontknow:

Thanks for all the help, we will continue investigating (I just wish he would buy a boost gauge and an A/F monitor of some kind).
