Seriously though for those if you thinking paxton...it is a big commitment beyonf the S/C itself......for QCs....you will need a tranny build...$3500.00....for RCs a new clutch....then if you want more than low 600's....meth + air induction mods and some real dyno tuning.....and then if you have 650+ you are going to want to run at the track = slicks.....figure $15000 to really enjoy what the paxton can deliver....

Now with that said I love the Paxton. My father has an 03 Viper and comparing the truck to that thing wasn't even worth the effort. Now is another story! Puts a grin on my face everytime I nail it. Being able to stomp almost anything else on the street is priceless... especially in a 5000+ lbs truck.
I drove/towed mine to Boomer for install and tuning, then back later for some more goodies. Deffinately take it to someone who can really tune it to get your money out of it. Can't go wrong with Boomer or DC Performance.

Boomer if your on this post. Is there anyway you can give anyone interested in having you do a install of a paxton and tune. Could you give us a rough estimate of the time and how much money labor would be ? I know you cant say for sure ever truck is different. But just a rough esitmate ? Warm and Fuzzy per say.
