For the non-FI engines, the meth/water nozzle was about 20-24 inches away from the throttle body for atomization (as someone stated). Talking to Sean, that would optimize meth/water given it proper time to best cool the air.
I run it before the SC and obviously no intercooler.
Yes, there is a trade-off with meth as fuel and cooling with water.
