pcm or sct?

Im sorry if im beating a dead horse, but im about to buy a pcm and pay 500 to have it flashed or should i just buy the sct w 3 tunes, is it same performance gains or :dontknow: signed, Confused on small budget!! Thanks!

SCT all the way... you can use it to tune for any future mods also.... nitrous, turbo, SC.... Itll work

You can get the same tune that will be flashed onto your PCM put on the SCT....plus you can add 2 other tunes like one for 100 octane racing gas....you can also remove the tune anytime and reflash any time.....$500 for a PCM flash makes no sense..................only way I might get a flash is to buy a used one at a good price and I had no plans for major modding..

SCT. They do the same thing but you can get new tunes for the SCT via email from your tuner. If you want to change something with a PCM flash then you have to take it out of the truck and send it to the vendor. He flashes it and send it back the next day. So 3 days with no truck. There are several threads on this already. Go with the SCT. Even with a cheap PCM flash you will have to pay money to get any changes. Most SCT vendors will make small changes for no charge via email. Kind of nice when you just make one change or you want to run a winter tune and summer tune.
