I have my PCM flashed, does it reset after you disconect the battery? The reason I ask, after I disconected the battery the truck wants to idol at 1200 rpm. I thought it might have to find itself and then it would be normal again, but that's not the case. It's been three weeks now and it's still idoling high. What the heck!:dontknow:

How much rpm did it idol at before you disconect the battery? You can try call B&G and ask them whats going on?

Suggest two things...re-boot the flashed pcm by disconnecting the battery again. See if that helps...

Also check the throttle cables, occasionally they come out of the guides in the engine compartment over the intake...

maybe the TPS (throttle position sensor) there have been a few of us who had them replaced (under warranty):dontknow: does it run rough at all?

As a matter of fact it does, it runs like a horse with a broken leg at 1700 rpm. I just figured it was because of the new cam. Where is this sensor located, and is it a do it yourself job? The truck has almost 60,000 miles on it so warranty is out of the question.

its the electrical plug in du-dad on the throttle body,my dealer had one in stock, don't know the cost though. it was a very simple fix! (for a change) LOL
mine finally threw a code, thats how i knew it was the TPS.
