If i get on it half way it will upshift way too soon. You have to floor the shit out of it to get a good Clean shift:rock: Sometimes 2nd gear starts slipping on Wot. Nowhat mentioned to call Joe to get that taken care off.:rock: After my exaust mods I will get A TC and Band Upgrade from Joe.

Is the band upgrade a big (expensive) thing? I am going to have my bands adjusted in the next 5k miles and am wondering if I should just get the upgrade...:dontknow:

To adjust the kickdown band open hood, under throttle cable there is the kickdown cable, unclip the gray plastic part, pull out cable all the way. Find a doctor to realign your spine, cuz it will shift unbelievably hard.

Amtrucker - get kevlar bands put in, not sure of price but they are legit.

If I remember right it's in the 1200 to 1400 range.

Go to the performance forums. Find Kick Down Linkage Adjustment thread. The complete instructions are posted there. I just got aound to doing it today and all I can say is wow. It takes all the slop out of the shifts paticularly under light throttle. Get on it and prepare yourself.
