Performance Upgrades -- Already Expensive

Enough seems to never be enough. I bought my SRT10QC new in Butler, Missouri November 24. I installed the K&N drop-in 11/30. I ordered custom Viper SRT10 floormats yesterday. I ordered a spare PCM w/DC Stage II flash and low temperature thermostat today. Gotta be something wrong with us to view 500 horsepower as a starting point. I'm trying to exercise some control and wait on B&B long-tubes, mid-pipes w/high flows, and cat-back system until after Christmas. Thanks (I think) for all of the good info. available in the performance section resulting in what I hope is good upgrades the first time.

I spent a bundle on the learning curve with my '04 Hemi.

Side note, did your truck sorta sound like a diesel pertinent to under the hood noise when new? Seems there is considerable lifter or valvetrain noise versus just the "Hemi tick" on my other truck.

Hahahahaah!!! Welcome to the Modhouse!! I started with the K&N Aircharger, Imco Catback Exhaust then the lowering kit, 24 inch wheels and tires, airbags and still going!!

nature of the beast, nothin' to worry about:burnout: injectors are pretty noisy,combine that with the valvetrain (x10) it can be pretty noisy!

i'll make your life easier (you can pay me later for this advice ) and be straight forward with you.....it will finally end with a blower or some sort of Forced induction. So get it now, save your money on the other little stuff, and go do some donuts

I've said repeatedly, I believe these trucks come with some sort of a mod sickness. Once you get infected, there is no cure, the only treatment is regular use of the internet and credit cards.

This is the best advice that can be given. Set a goal and work towards it.

Many people buy this, then buy that. By the time they get to the end they have a collection of parts that do not work together and they are disappointed with the results.

Talk to a good tuner about what you want out of the truck. Let them put together the package of what you will need. You will not be dissatisfied that way.

I love this advice. That is exactly what I am doing. I have an 05 with no mods, but based on the goals I expressed to Roe Racing I have a plan. And by next spring, I shoud realize my plan.
