Petit Le Mans

Got free tickets and infield parking pass from my boss courtesy of the Chamber of Commerce of Hall County, to the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. I went today and OMG what eye candy. After passing through the gate and into the infield, I started passing areas roped off for specific types of vehicles. Hundreds of Porches, Corvettes, Bmw's and Audi's all in their areas. I'm looking for the Vipers and when I found it, only one lonely Viper and a Hemi truck with our wheels were sitting in an area that could support 50 cars. Pitiful turnout. The greatest American car since the Cobra and this is all that turn out. Anyway while driving around looking for a place to park, a guy yelled at me while stand on top his motor home, "couldn't you buy a faster truck" I said I will if they make one. Great day and awesome racing though the actual Le Mans starts tomorrow. I'll try to post so pic's if I can figure it out.

I was supposed to be there this week/weekend. Had to cancel my leave to take a plane over to the desert. Then I was taken of the trip and couldnt get my leave back. grrrrrrrr......I wanted to take my Vette on the track as part of the Corvette Coral event. Sometimes the Air Force really pisses me off.
