This is after Stinker's drop shackles and removal of the bottom, short leaf spring.

Here is a pic of the springs without the bottom leaf...

Removing the bottom spring did not effect the ride quality whatsoever. I personally love the "level" look on pick-up trucks.
 
if anything it wouls make the ride quality even better. that last spring is for towing and payload, if u dont do either then no problem

Looks good, I just lowered my RC with stinkers blocks...pics to come:rock:
 
How hard to remove the spring? Anyone got a do it yourself? Looks badazz BTW!!!!

It's easy! remove the nuts from the U-bolts. Jack the frame up while you support the axle. Do one side at a time. I remember there being a bolt and a nut that runs vertical thru the middle of the leaf springs. Remove that and the bottom leaf should come out. Then just put it back together and do the other side.
 
Cut the roll pin to length.

Here's my baby? Thanks to EMT! I had been thinking about it on the BELOVED and boom EMT pops up and sings it's praises, so I finally got around to doing it to the BEAST. You can't beat it. Ride quality is better IMO and Stinker sells the shackles for what, a hundred bucks...... can't be beat.

Looks really good!! Would you get a better launch with it being that, would it tansfer weight to the back any easier?
Also have you noticed any wheel hop at all?
