SilvrSRT10 said:The carriage house style doors are really nice. They can really set off the looks on the house. Really dresses it up. We are getting ready to move my mil into our house. Going to be converting our existing garage into her suite. We will be raising the floor up to house level so she doesn't have to climb stairs.
Since I refuse to leave the "10" sitting outside. I'm building an over sized 3 car garage out back. It will have plenty of room for our vehicles and my bikes. Jackie wants carriage house doors on it but it will be located close to my shop which already has the standard raised panel doors on it. So to stay consistent and not have to change out the shop door, we are staying with the raised panel.
There are lots of different styles of carriage house doors to choose from and many glass options. Check this out http://www.safe-waydoor.com/residential/carriage-house-steel-doors/model-presidential.php . Click on features and options for all the info. If you find something you like and need an installer let me know. My distributor can recommend someone in your area.
I failed to mention I was recruited by OHD of Charlotte about 5 months ago as their new Director of HR. I should be getting a pretty sweet deal on the doors.
