Playing with a Gallardo

After taking an ass whipping from you guys for racing a Ford farm truck, I just had a good power run with a Lambo Gallardo. I entered the highway with a pack of cars and I'm changing lanes toward the fast lane when this silver Lambo goes by in the far left lane. Four lanes merge into two and as traffic clears, I'm now behind him. Now I hear and see him accelerate hard so I downshift to fourth and we pull away from the pack. Now we're in open road and I must have surprised him by staying up. We both slow and and do some toying around. Caught him off guard and blew past him in 3rd gear and he quickly passed me when I was slowing down. Although quicker I believe that Lambo driver was entertain and surprised with the capabilities of a Viper Truck.

I was curious how we would hang with those. I have driven both and the Lambo is definately better (go figure ). Just for the fun of it, I am going to try to race on once I get my nitrous installed. There is absolutely NO comparision to the way that car handles though. I guess that's what you get for an extra $150K

The new 06 SE gallardo have 520 Bhp. Plus they have e gear option. I still think Our viper trucks could give them a good run:dontknow:

There is one on Maui...............back tires are so freaken wide!! Looks awesome though. I bet it sounded good when he took off!!!!

Awesome sound. He was fast, but not that much faster then me. Speeds never got over 110-115 mph, but getting there was fun and very close. The real story is what the people we left behind thought when this silver truck took on an exotic sports car and hung with it. Not only did he hold back in traffic but he waited for me for traffic to clear to run. That's respect. He knew what I was, a Viper Truck.

Cmon D Don't you really think that Some ferrari's and Lambo' are overrated!
I mean you can sup up a mustang and beat the living crap out of any Ferrari and lambo for 500% less. I think Its more prestige than just pure speed:rock:

1) Define overrated and what that has to do with my comment....

2) Speed isn't everything............. It's called quality.

3) Drive a nice Ferrari or Lamborghini....... You'll want one....

And what I meant was everytime You guys see a ferrari or lambo you guys automtaically assume that It is the king of speed and nobody can touch it.
He said his truck was playing with the lambo(it probably can because lambo run mid 12's in the 1/4mile) Than you said The lambo was playing with him:dontknow: D its all good anyways sir:rock:

Hold out for a black one..............

Black is always the fastest color.............

Rule of thumb: With fine Italian sports cars, it's the entire driving experience. The look, the luxury, fit and finish, exhaust note... (especially that) and of course the overall aesthetics and feel for the driver create an experience that is unlike driving an American car.... with rare exceptions.....

I could travel 70 mph in a stash Ferrari and experience a feeling that is unequalled in a Corvette or Viper at 150...... The exhaust note alone can give a car junkie a stone woodie..........

You right D. He was in front of me and he waited for traffic to clear between and in front of us before he put the hammer down. I took it as a compliment cause he knew what my truck was. There was a passenger with him so I imagine he was showing off a bit too.
