Playing with the CTS V this weekend...

Steve, the engine is not forged. That is the major difference between the LS9 (ZR1 Corvette) and the LSA engine. The sc on the LS9 also pumps 10 lbs of boost the LSA is only 8 lbs. The other difference is the tune.

But even with cast pistons and rods, it still has a 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty!

Thanks Jake I will look at the site!

Roy

That is what amazes me the most... THE WARRANTY is INSANE for a performance car!

how tall are you prof? I sat in one and I'm only 6 foot an 160 pounds so I am not large by any means, and the thing was impossible to get into, I mean my corvette and all my f-bodies were easier to get into than this thing. I sat in an 09 also. loved the car, but the cockpit was just to small to get into. I think they designed it for shorter people?!???

I'm 6' too (and shrinking). I weigh about 195, and do not have any problems. I have read that some get the car without the sunroof to get a little more head room.

Looks like the coupe V will be good competition for the CLK 63 AMG Black Series for 60% of the price. Roy, have you found or looked for an aftermarket wheel for that thing. I've done some Yahoo searches and haven't come up with anything good (just some ghetto bling crap).

I am doing a search as we speak.

There are not too many. One of the other issues is that the front and back are different sizes...when I find a nice looking one for the front, the manufacturer doesn't seem to make the size needed for the back...there was just a post on the CTS V forum that showed some...for about $4k.

Yer gonna have to go FULL custom... HRE, CCW, USW.... It will be quite expensive. But, you will get exactly what you want, they will fit, and they will be the only one's out there (for a minute). :)

Everyone needs to go test drive these things. What a ride.

I'm glad i didn't get to play in mine, or else I wouldn't be moving out of the hood into our dream house!

I got me a shop now!

Here is the new Mesh 8 wheel from Forged...this is SICK!

I want them...but $6K is also sick, sick, sick!
