Oceanside, Ca. is in San Diego county. The home of the US Naval Training Center, Coronado Island, Mira Mar (formerly Top Gun), Camp Pendelton (USMC) and numerous other military facilities. That makes San Diego ALOT less liberal than the rest of the Peoples Republic of California.
My wife belongs to the Oceanside Republican Women's Federated. We just finished a benefit for the brain trauma division of the Wounded Warriors Project.... The Marine color gaurd was there as well as numerous local politicos (to whom) I gave a bit of a hard time about being to weenie for Republicans.....
So, anyway.... This is a military town. I'm honored to say that we deeply love and appreciate our Marines AND their families.
But at the same time, the GOP has (to a great extent) lost it's focus on many fronts.... They (and their counterparts across the aisle) have become fat and sassy. They're politicians, not patriots.... and just as corrupt a bunch'a buttfkrs as all the rest.

Lastly, I want a military that's modelled after the Israeli military under Moshe Dayan.... Those guys knew how to kick ass when their nation was threatened. Not like the buncha weenies they have in charge now....
Re-elect my hero, Benjamin Netanyahu... He's the best they have currently....:congrats:
