just alot of history in Pontiac, really hate to see things like that disapear, or perhaps I feel like a part of me and my memories are going away...I dont know....it just seems like we are going to get so far away from shore that we are going to forget where we port the damn boat....

It will probable come down to Chevy and Cadillac, kinda like furd and lincon

Personally I think it's for the better.

Just how many rebadged models did you need of the same car/platform? It's not like they were up until the 80's where each manufacturer had their own engines and other components that really made them different. It was the same damn car, be it a Buick, Chevy, or Pontiac. Different trim, but other than that, they were the same.

The front oil pan gasket was thicker on the pontiac (different pan):D

Yeah...It's a wonder that they didn't build a pontiac truck too...

Pontiac 3.8 was the best engine I ever had. Drove one in a Bonnieville for over 220K and never burned or leaked oil.
