I took my truck to have the cam installed last night... I will try to post some pictures later this evening of it torn down.. I would like to know from you that have a ported and polished throttle body where you actually do the porting? I can feel a small lip about 3/8 of an inch from the butterflies.. Is that what needs to be took out? Also I just want to polish the inside after I do the grinding what supplies are needed to do that?

I am no expert on this but I have discussed it at length with my tuner. He says you better really know what you are doing or you can end up with some major "tip in" issues after its ported.

I think FSTJACK knows how to do it correctly and has posted info on it. If you search his posts/threads you'll probably find what you are looking for.;)

Kyle, you're on the right track. As you said there's a "lip" about 3/3" thinck all the way around the ports in front of the butterflies, that's what needs to go. Once that is gone, I used a denel tool with polishing attachments to make it as smooth as a babies' butt. Nothing to it...just make sure you don't grind anywhere near where the butterflies seat, new ones are NOT cheap.
