My sister (Tracy) has scoliosis (irregular curvature of the spine). When she was young, she had surgery to straighten it which included a stainless steel bar and the fusing of some of her vertebrae. Over the years, she's worn out the un-fused area of her back and has required two additional surgeries. Monday, she goes in for another surgery to relieve the constant pain she is in that the second surgery left her with.
I would appreciate and I know she will too any positive thoughts you can send her way. Monday I will print off this thread and present it to her so she knows that she has the support of the SRT-10 forum. Thank you.

They were able to undo the last procedure (the one was giving her all the pain) and support her with a new procedure. They weren't able to do as much to straighten her up as we had hoped for. That is a tricky operation that is potentially dangerous.
She is feeling pretty good and they have her pain under control. Just a little nausea with breakfast. So far this has been the easiest procedure she's been through. Thanks to everyone that wished her well. She was touched by your comments and I think it eased her apprehensiveness some. VTCoA
