Possible Changes...this'll get a rise

Well, im in the middle of some big life changes, the situtation with the wife has progressed to divorce. We have spit everything, ive got my 2 trucks, and ive been looking to downsize to 1 vehicle for quite some time to save on insurance and such. The diesel gets awesome fuel economy but i dont tow anymore and its very impractical as a dd (i hit 6th gear @ 35 mph...thats alot of shifting in town). Part of all this is to be able to stack savings for school and possibly buy my own house at some point, so using the 10 as a dd wouldnt do me well on the gas bill .

Ive been weighing out some options, not sure what im gonna do yet. The Nissan stealership offered me $23K on the srt (its paid off), and to pay off the diesel ($15K), toward this car. List is $41K, they came to $33,500 and i walked out, if i can squeeze them out to $31K ill probly go this route...Id love some input from my bothers please...

Nismo 370Z 350hp & 26mpg...(this car is a new 09, they paid $37,400 for it, but cant get it sold so their trying to move it for the 2011's)

Honestly, the car is beautiful and they are fast as hell. I live in Smyrna, TN, which is Nissan's largest North American production facility. I can get you employee pricing because I know about 50 folks that work there. The only problem is that you see them all the time and can you really see yourself in an import after owning the most muscelist of muscle trucks?

What you need to do is make out a list of +'s and -'s and figure out which you wanna do. If you do part with the truck I will gladly take the mods off your hands and give you all factory replacement parts. That will put extra coin in your pocket as well.

If it were me - I'd keep the truck but I'm not in your situation. Hope this helps.

You could call Tenneson Nissan down here and tell'um to take $29k on the car ?

Problem is the diesel is in both of our names, it's on a balloon note at the bank, so it'll have to be refinanced in 7 months anyway...I may just keep what I have and see why kinda cash I can save. I'm probly gonna end up taking a new job as well...the family biz is no longer a family biz...

I know you wanna down size to one car man but your gonna miss being able to mod the hell out of your weekend car and not worry about being able to do what you want because it's not you DD. Why not get like a Honda Civic or Accord as a DD and keep the truck? You could have 2 vehicles paid off and a bad-ass weekend warrior.

I paid $17k for my truck, got a couple grand in it (the parts will be sold off before anything), I believe I can get them to give almost $25k on it, N.A.D.A. trade value on it is over $26k...

Let me know if you're serious about getting the 370 and I can definitely get you what you need to get employee pricing. Talk to the dealership and see if that will lower your total vehicle price at all.:dontknow:

I've considered that for sure, but the place I'm moving (my single buddies 3bd house) I can only have one vehicle there (no room). That means I'd have to find a new place to put the 10

Hate to see you have to sell her but if you really want to keep her I would consider getting a cheap reliable beater like previously said bro. If you kinda wanted to get out the truck and try something else go the route your taking. As far as the diesel, what does the ex want to do with it? If she doesn't care jus tcontinue to try and sell it...it should be worth more than what you owe on it....or you can trade it in on a small beater even or add a few dollars....

Well, a buddy of mine that lives close bought a new 09 370z the other day with the 7speed auto with paddle shifters, it makes 20hp less then the nismo, but i drove his around for awhile and had a blast, thats what kinda drew me to them...Its a strong car, great mpg for the power, and love the stlye. Something nice to still have fun with while im in school the next few years. My buddy is trying to buy those nismo wheels but their over $4k...19" x 10.5"
