Post editing

How about being able to edit your first post in the classifieds section?
I think it would make threads much more organized, instead of having to keep updating sold parts with a new post.

The edit post settings are global and not thread or forum based. Good idea, however unpractical in our environment

Oh, ok. I was just suggesting it because on some forums you can edit a post you made months ago, but not here.

Yea, every board is just a lttle different (thank God) and our settings work really well for the venue that we have. It also help presearve valuable information that people can learn from years later.

I always hit the "New Posts" and very seldom will go back and read a thread from the beginning (just not that much free time for me).
