There is a block the power steering hoses go into in between the radiator and the crank pulley. This block has hoses and also an electrical hookup/sensor on it. Can anyone tell me what this is? It appears to be an intercooler but why does it have the electrical connection?

its the fan motor.

its hydraulic. runs off the power steering

if ya go to the JT Sawyer site & to the power steerin lines thread, ther are some photos thar

I thought it was the flux capacitor. I'll be careful when hitting 88mph for too long.
Really, if anyone knows what this block is, please share.

its hydraulic driven, off the power steerin pump/system.

the solinoid controls the fan speed from the ECM

Thanks to everyone for answering. I'll take a better look at it next time I'm under there. I'm going to a cruise in this evening and my clutch is actually being cooperative for now. I am planning to change the fluid and bleed the system to see how that goes before changing the entire system.

Oh yeah, can anyone give me instrcutions for adding pics in a thread and also in my signature. Every time I try, it says the pics are too large?

your jpeg pics have to be under 1.5m, as i recall..... you'll have to reduce their size to attach them. :)
